I have struggled with my self-confidence and self-esteem after years of abuse in my childhood and a nightmare of a marriage. I would cry stepping on a scale and avoid looking at my reflection. But that is my past and I know that I have the power to change my future. I am at my heaviest weight and on a journey of radical self-love and self-acceptance. This photo shoot was more than beautiful pictures, it was about healing and seeing myself. I see my scars, my tattoos, my rolls, my curves my perfections and my imperfections. The only thing not visible is the healing. I have never felt so sexy and comfortable in my own skin.
